Hi - we are about to put our flat on the market, but haven't yet appointed a solicitor. Can anyone recommend a local, affordable firm please? We are near Clapham Junction.

We used Barbara Cox at Alen-Buckley on Bellevue Road - not to expensive and nice to deal with.

My brother and I have both used Skelly & Corsellis on St John's Road in Clapham Jct - no complaints!

Don't use Woodfords in Fulham, the buyers of our old house used them & they were useless. I almost complained to the Law society about them.

Barbara Cox got the job done, but when we had some issues with leases/ missing documents she got quite downbeat/ fed up - as nervous, first time buyers we felt she was a bit 'negative' in her dealings with us! But she got the job done and we used her again for the next purchase so, all in all, good.

We used Greville Hast at Alen-Buckley, both to sell our old house (three years ago) and buy our new one (last year). He was great.
