Hello SW11 - happy to recommend Piers Beeching 07966 449196 who did a
a lovely job on our garden in Battersea. Have also spoken to the team at Battersea Flower Station on Battersea Park Road who are very friendly and believe they also do site visits and provide advice.

Hello.. and thank you for the kind words!

We do carry out garden visits and offer advice on what to do / plant in your garden (or balcony) and there's no charge for this service.

We'll also plant up your window boxes for free - you just pay for your plants (and window boxes if you don't have some already) and we can deliver them to you.

We don't offer garden maintenance / planting up of gardens though, but looks like there are lots of people with recommendations for that side here already, so hope you find someone you're happy with.

Hello guys!
I couldn't help but notice, that you seek professional help, in terms of gardening. I'd like to give you a hand with the search and offer you my personal favourites- http://www.buildersbattersea.co.uk/landscaping/. Visit their website and browse through the different landscaping options and find the best one for your home garden. Apart from landscaping, there are plenty of other service, that you might find useful for your home, in future time. I strongly recommend these guys, because they're true professionals, they work on the weekends and in the evenings and finally they have good discount policy.

I was looking for a gardener to tidy my rented garden and came across this thread and decided to try Soul Gardeners. I thought they were really excellent. Danny was lovely, very helpful as I needed the work done quickly and they did a great job. Please ignore the early unhelpful comments about them. Highly recommended.

Can recommend someone specialising in lawn care? (We wanted to get Green Thumb in as they've done amazing things at friends places in the country for not much money - re-seeding, weedkilling etc - but I called them and they said they won't come to London!)

I guess we could get a jack-of-all-trades gardener in but we do have some patches of nasty weeds and areas that need re-seeding, so definitely need someone who 'knows their lawns'.

If anyone has a grass-related success story they can tell me about, would love to hear it! And yes, I know..... we could just get easygrass....

:)

We have just used Soul Gardeners (http://www.soulgardeners.co.uk) and they were superb - I would highly recommend them.

We had a number of people round to quote and Soul Gardeners were the most reasonable. Danny and Adam did a great job of designing the new layout for our garden and then did a fantastic job of creating it.

They had to excavate a significant amount of earth, replace a damaged fence, build a deck and re-turf our lawn. We were amazed at how quickly Danny, Adam and their team were able to progress despite the weather not being particularly helpful.

On top of that they turned up bang on time every day, barely left a trace of being there even though the only access to our garden is through the house and were really polite/friendly and generally a pleasure to have around.

We will definitely be using them in future if we need any help with our garden.
