Has anyone used Paul Strank roofing and if so, were they reasonably priced?

We had a leak from our roof into our bedroom ceiling a few weeks ago, when the rain was torrential. After a recommendation from a friend, they came round to look at the roof and said it was a relatively small job. The quote I've just received from them though was for over £500 - which seems an awful lot to me for a fairly straight forward job. I have no idea about roofers charges, so I've asked for a breakdown of costs in the estimate to give me a better idea of how the estimate was arrived at. I probably need to get at least two more quotes to compare against - can anyone recommend roofers they have used and were happy with?

Hello - I used Paul Strank after getting 5 quotes, they were mid range on the price but they offered a long term solution and were quite particular about how they did the job. They did crack a tile whilst up on the roof which I spotted after they had left and they were back within the hour to fix. I would recommend.

We used Merlin Truline Roofing (http://www.merlinroofing.co.uk/) - they were recommended to us by a roofer who had retired.
