I am writing on behalf of our current au pair who I am sadly letting go because of my new work commitments.
Her name is Leticia, She is French , 21 years old and has been with us for 7 weeks. She speaks very good English and is also taking extra English lessons.
We are an English family but require our au pairs to speak French to the children. We have had au pairs for many years now.
She is kind, patient and very caring. She plays with my two boys (2 and 4) and looks after them very well. She reads to them and invents games and generally keeps them busy. She gets them ready for school in the morning, she tidies their rooms and does their washing. She cooks them dinner, cleans and gives them a bath and often puts them to bed.
She performs all house cleaning duties thoroughly and is very helpful around the house. I have found her to be very conscious of the boys security and is able to interact with them on their level, as well as being strict when the need arises. Which it inevitably does with boys !
She is looking for work immediately and we are very sorry to be letting her go. I can highly recommend her and will be happy to chat with you over the phone. We live in Clapham and she can come for an interview at short notice. I have checked her previous two references which were excellent and she is happy to put their names forward again, if required. She has plenty of childcare experience which includes looking after children up to the age of 14.
She does not have a driving licence.
I am writing the initial email and can forward you her email/tel number if you are interested.
