Moms of preemies in the balham area?

Hi are there any groups for moms of preemies to share their experiences in the area?

Hi, I believe St Georges runs one which happens once a month on Fridays. It's mainly for parents whose babies were in St George's NICU but they welcome others too. I've never been but know a couple of people who have and they have made friends there. You could ask your HV or St Georges directly for more details.

My daughter was born at 34 weeks and the first few months were a bit bumpy to say the least! But she's now nearly 1 and doing well. Hope your baby is doing well too.

My son's doing well thank god he's almost 13 months was born at 32 weeks in St. thomas's. We are new to the Balham area so wanted to meet other moms who've had similar experiences raising a preemie.

I know a few prem mums in the area as our babies have all had respiratory problems (mine is not prem). I'll send them this as they have lots of experience to share.
