Dance class for 3 year old boy Post Reply

Hi

My little boy is 3 and he loves to dance. Does anyone know of any dance classes in the area suitable for boys at his age? Ideally I would like some sort of street dance class rather then ballet as I think he might object to being in a class full of pink tutus!

It is ballet, but my 3 year old daughter does bellerinas ballet on a Monday afternoon and another boy has just joined the class!

I would be definitely interested in a 3 year old street dance class for my twin boys.

Baby Bop (www.babybop.com) classes cater for 2-4 year olds (though I can't personally recommend the as I haven't tried any classes). I think they offer a trial class though so may be worth a try.

Thanks for the replies. The Baby Bop looks great but a bit too far away from me.
I might have to consider ballet as there doesn't seem much else. Ideally I would love something where he could just have a bit of a boogie to chart type music and maybe learn a few steps. Nothing too formal.

Hi! Try Fancy Footwork 0845 094 1774. I know they definitely have a Boys Only class and also all the classes for the youngsters are non gender specific so he would feel comfortable in any of them.

Do kids attend for 3 hours or do they drop in for specific bits? 3 hours would be far too long for my 3 year old.

Try Lucy Sparkles, she does music, drama & dancing for little ones. My DS is almost 2 & a half and he loves it. It's for boys & girls so no pink tutus

Yes it's 1 hour of singing 1 hour of dance and 1 acting - most of the 3yrs we have manage fine. I always give them a trail to see if they can keep up with the class.

Starting @ Club Creche 1C Elsenham Street sw185nu. Zumba kids ages 3 to 6yrs. This is a super fun class that the children love and the dancing is fantastic! free trial Wednesday 8th January 4 to 5pm. please book your trial in advance as there is alot of interest already in this class.
