Baby friendly pubs/restaurants in the evening?

Postby RunnerBean » Wed Nov 06, 2013 6:57 pm

Just wondering if anyone can recommend any pubs or restaurants in the area that are happy for people to bring babies in buggies in the evening? Keen for an evening out with my husband and friends - our 2 month old would sleep through most of the evening. All Bar One said kids need to leave by 6 but The Roundhouse hasn't seemed to mind us taking him there at dinner time - are there any others?
Thank you in advance!

We took our one-month old to The Rookery (across from Clapham Common at the East end of Windmill Drive) and I just called to let them know we'd be bringing her along. They were great and had a specific table set aside for us where we could tuck the buggy out of the way next to us. We've also taken her just in her carseat a few places out of the area too.

The Hope on Bellevue Road, is very family and dog friendly. I have only been with mine until about 6, but was there sat night and there were a fee people there with babies at around 9.

Hope you have a good night x

The Calf and Stonhouse (both close to Clapham Common station) are also both baby friendly in the evenings. Have fun!

The Jolly Gardeners on Garratt Lane always let us take our little boy in on a night time and the leather bottle are normally fine with it
