I helped organise a hen party afternoon tea at the Athenaeum Hotel, for well over 20 people. We had a section of the room to ourselves.

Hi, I had my hen party last year and used the Vintage Patisserie (as mentioned earlier in this thread). Angel who runs it is amazing - it was a superb afternoon. The whole thing is vintage from china to food and drink and they give you all a make over/hair do in 20s-40s style if you want. It was great fun and unforgettable. They personalise everything for the hen - right down to chocolates and various other things to make it really special. Highly recommended do check it out!
Other thing we did was to do a cupcake decorating class - there's a great company called the make lounge (they have a comprehensive website) - their cupcake hen parties are brilliant and suit all ages and tastes. We brought lots of fizz with us to drink whilst decorating and it was again a great afternoon out.
Hope you manage to get something booked.
