I was going to go but the 7-9 or 9.15pm has slightly put me off as another poster rightly said, I can't physically be there for 7pm as I am putting my son to bed & by 9.15, I'm ready for bed myself.

For me 7.30 is perfect as then you can get there, have a couple of hours & be done by 9.30 & home in bed by 10pm :)

I think I might leave it until the 2 sittings comes to an end.

We have tried this restaurant last week and loved the food, wine and the atmosphere. It was a group of us that all live in the neighbourhood. We would love to be regulars at this restaurant, however, found the (slightly rude) turfing out quite unpleasant. Besides spoiling the mood, we would have happily done some sherry tasting after our meal, and all had deserts. Instead our evening was cut short. Unless the seating policy changes we won't be coming back. I find the rush before Christmas a poor excuse - turfing out shows disregard for customers.

Oooh ... it seems some issues on seating.

I'm definately going to come along - I love sherry! Really nice chilled sherry is one of my favourite drinks. One ... of many!

I will have to know pre-eating though whether someone is going to try and turf me out before I am finished though ... no one likes a scene!

Hope all gets sorted because I'm really excited about this restaurant ... just need the wife to give birth so I can hit the sherry!

I called last night and booked a table for 8.15 this evening .... so maybe they have listen to the comments and have abolished the 2 seatings ? I will report back and let you know if I get kicked out mid dessert !!! But I am really looking forward to it as I love the food at Lola Rojo.

Hello
I went along to this lovely restaurant last night. As one of the posters said- it's a cosy place and you do feel like you are sitting in a tapas bar in Madrid.
There were 5 of us last night. I had the Mash and the Seafood Pintxo (seafood kebab with tuna/ prawn/squid etc). Delicious. My friends had:-
Meat Pintxo, Patatas Bravas and the special last night (Wild Boar). Some of us tried sherry.

It's an unusual menu (but this makes it all the more special) and the waitress helped us out when we weren't sure how many dishes we would need for tapas etc.

It's got a great atmosphere- highly recommend it- definitely give it a shot and see what you think!

We tried this on Sat pm, we turned up at 8 & got 2 seats at the bar, no one offered us a table even though there were some free so I'm interested that you can book them?

The food was great, we tried some sherries & the service was fine, my only comment would be that the bar stools weren't v.comfortable as they kept spinning around & I had to jam my knees against the bar to keep myself from sliding onto the floor.

I would go back but ask for a table next time ;)
