I honestly really don't get it Mungo. I don't understand why you feel the need to put people down like this? Call me sensitive but I have only just recovered from our last exchange and took a long break from NVN as a result of it (perhaps after this i will take another break !!) Just because I wanted to have a debate about something I find interesting and you didn't?

But rightly or wrongly I just need to say something. Why can't we discuss Jane ellison' vote given the Battersea vote at the referendum? I am personally not surprised by how she voted, but it doesn't mean I am not allowed to be disappointed by it? And if others are too there is no harm having a little rant about it??

If you feel the thread is pointless...why not just ignore it?

Mumgo I promise you I am a nice person!

Perhaps I am just not reading your posts in the way you intend them to be read! I don't honestly see a different opinion....I just read someone telling me to shut up, stop posting pointless debates and get on with it. Perhaps it was not your intention but this is how I read it!

Totally happy to have a good old debate with someone that disagrees with me! In fact, I quite like having a good debate. I agree with you in that Brexit is happening and hope for the best. But I am still disappointed that my MP didn't listen to her constituency voters. Not surprised by it. But disappointed!

As per last time we came across...I hope there are no hard feelings. Perhaps it's me that is just not cut out for this online business and perhaps after a brief spell it's time for me to disappear again.

Happy weekend !

Hi Everyone
I've had multiple requests to lock this topic - can we please remember that we should be a local, friendly website and whilst we can't read every post we do try to react quickly when they're pointed out to us.

I have also been asked to point out that the vote carried s a three line whip and, as such, the scope for MP's to vote against this three line whip was limited, thus only one Tory (Ken Clarke) broke ranks.

Thank you for using NVN.
