Working from home suggestions

Postby LMV » Mon Jan 14, 2019 10:21 am

Hello everyone,

I’m looking for advice as I’m about to start a new job, working predominantly from home, but with children around I’m keen to be out of the house a bit each day. Do you have any suggestions or tips of where are good places to work with a laptop? Any cafes that are particularly welcoming? Other ideas? I’m in Balham.

Thank you!

Megan's in Balham is really good, the tables in the corner (where the flower wall is) are great as they have plug sockets for laptops and tend to be a bit quieter! Brickwood is great too (but the booths are the only good seats for working)

Have a look at Andco (https://www.andco.life), they offer flexible co-working space in local bars and restaurants at £20 per month.
