Has anyone else asked their MP to leave their current Party ?

Postby Calaya » Mon Feb 18, 2019 2:44 pm

I have just sent an email to Ms De Cordova (marsha.decordova.mp@parliament.uk) asking her to clarify her position following the 7 MPs who have left the Labour party. We need MPs from all parties to start making compromise and work with everyone to come up with a BREXIT solution.

Hey Calaya, totally agree. I have used twitter to thank those who have resigned, and will be writing to a variety of Labour and Tory MPs to encourage them to leave their respective parties. Will be posting shortly about  a meeting with Marsha. Would love to read your email if you want to DM it to me or post it.

Do you think this sort of action and behaviour by MP’s is responsible? (Clue : No is the answer)

With the current political turmoil, is not appropriate for some jumped up prima donna’s (not exactly major names) to break the countries political system up. That’s all they are doing, leading to hung parliaments and parties with no majorities - no decent majority is why we we have not solved the Brexit exit plan, there is no party majority and as the saying goes, you are “not going to keep all the MPs/people happy, all the time”

Please remember, like it or not, the country has voted for a new National direction.

I find this disrespect for democracy quite ‘disappointing’ to say the least, those who keep relentlessly banging the same drum to change a result that over 17m people voted for need to be very careful what you wish for.

Make your point then move on, like you might tell your children when they keep asking for the same treat !

The grass isn’t always greener.
