Just for the sake of keeping @LPoole updated: my son went through his settling-in days last week. It was three days. I was impressed by the loving and nurturing way the ladies that work there took care of him and made sure he gets plenty of hugs and attention on his first days. Everyone knew who he was, that he was new and that he might have a little bit of a hard time during those first days. My son did cry when I left him - yes. Yet, he calmed down and the staff engaged him in play quickly so he was distracted.
I, as a mum, was able to call whenever I wanted to check in on how he's doing. Which I did

The manager took time to look what my son was doing and told me how he was. They even called me proactively for advise on what to do with him when he struggled to settle for his lunch nap. They are also able to 100% adhere to his routine in regards to milk and naps.
All in all - it's been a very positive experience so far. Also all the other kids in the nursery seem very content and were happily playing every time I entered the place.
