Social skills and being assertive for kids

Postby leigh.stutchbury » Tue Apr 02, 2019 1:08 pm

Humans are social creatures and a part of growing up is learning how we fit in with our peers, as well as knowing how to manage social situations.

Starting on the 27th of April, CHAMPS academy will be running a 4 week  social confidence and skills program for 6-10 year olds at Tooting library. Bring your child along to learn:
-How to be assertive
-Standing up for oneself in a calm and effective fashion
-confident communication
-self belief in groups
-social problem solving.

By being proactive and focusing on these skills at this age, we make it easier for our children to transition socially in their teenage years.

Advanced booking rates available before Monday the 8th of April-get in touch to secure your place as spaces are limited!
