Mediator recommendation

Postby FabLondon » Mon Apr 29, 2019 6:23 pm

Hi,

Does anyone recommend a good mediator between the commons (and not to expensive!) regarding a divorce.

Many thanks

Peter Burgess at Burgess Mee in Clapham Old Town would be great.

Hi - you should check that your mediator is Accredited with the FMC as that will give you the reassurance that they are regulated and should know what they are doing.

Do remember that the costs of the mediator are normally split between both parties an hourly fee if £350 etc is actually £175 each which is considerably less than each would pay a solicitor.
Do look at the Family Mediation Council
website and it has a register of mediators local to your area.
Good luck.

Hi
We used Cressida Burnet who is on Thurleigh Road. She was fantastic. She is an ex Family law barrister and helped us get a solution where another mediator failed.
