Is Wandsworth delivering clear recycling sacks? Post Reply

Just wondering if any one else is receiving them? We ordered them multiple times but nothing. The council's site says that delivery resumes on 20-Apr and there may be delays, but we are now in the first week of June.

PS Of course I fully get it that, in the current crisis, the council has much more important problems to solve - just curious to understand if any one else has received them lately

We just got ours today (off Lavender Hill) so they are starting to do the rounds.... fingers crossed you get them soon!

Yes, we had ours delivered last week too, Stormont Road. We ordered 3 times since the end of January and didn't receive any!

I saw a council pick-up truck full of them doing the rounds delivering them around Broomwood Road about a week ago - so they are coming.

Hi -these are becoming hard to get [for some unexplained reason] even before lockdown . I worry that people swill simply give  up recycling if the council are making it so hard to get them? They used to periodically leave a couple of rolls every few months which seemed the sensible option. Anyway it might be worth leaving a message with refuse,  to say that the present way of giving out bags seems pretty sporadic and not working as well?
Meanwhile I have a few spare that I can give you to tide you over if you like -just private message me and I can drop them off to you.
