Primarily I would suggest speaking to your dentist about your concern. Anecdotally, both my children found comfort from sucking on a stuffed toy/blanket...Daughter still does and she is almost a teen,i also as a child sucked on the corner edge of my blanket. my teeth were not pulled forward and neither have my children's been to date.
