Time to send a grandparents day card and share our love to grandparents and seniors in ours community in celebration of Chongyang Festival - Seniors Day on 25th October. We are looking for children’s artwork and stories for a Virtual Exhibition. See flyer for more details. I always have this big passion to promote a traditional Chinese festival Chongyang Festival in the community for the reason that the most important value it carries for thousands of years is to pay our care and love to grandparents and seniors in the community. This year it falls on the 25th Oct, on that Sunday. We want to put up a Virtual Exhibition of children’s creation, artworks, grandparents cards they designed, stories, letters, messages that children send to their grandparents.
If you think this is a nice thing to do, could I ask big favour from all my dear friends, would you like to encourage your children do a design? Send the picture to me at Chongyang2020@wenlinchineseschool.org.uk ASAP before 18th.Oct write their first name, age and from which country if possible, I hope we can put up an amazing display.

Children can get a digital certificate for participation and their work will be enter ed for great design competition. Hope to receive a lot of wonderful designs Thank you All! Hope we willl have a LOTS of happy grandparents on this day. Call them on 25th Oct to mark the Seniors day?

We received these lovely artworks from children for Chongyang Festival -Senior s Day 25th October. Imagine how happy the grandparents will be when they receive these sweet messages in the post! Join the celerbration by encouraging your students, children to create their Seniors day card/poem/paintings - remember to take a picture of their work and email it to us before sending to the grandparents. chongyang2020@wenlinchineseschool.org.uk

“爱在重阳”ài zài chóngyáng Send love to grandparents and senior citizens at Chongyang Festival (25th Oct) also called double ninth festival - Seniors Day. We have received hundreds of beautiful artwork for the Virtual Exhibition will ne held on 25th October. Closing date for entry is tomorrow. Hope many grandparents will receive their greeting cards in the post this week we are looking for lots of lovely stories on how children spend their time with grandparents. We have received so many beautiful artwork from as little as 22 months old, and children from different countries. Reading children’s sweet writing about their relationship with their grandparents are touching! Parents want to share how grandparents feel after received their surprise gift in the post.
