Need Piano teacher for 7y/o Boy Clapham Common Southside

Hello.

Looking for a piano teacher for 7 year old boy. He has mild, non defiant ADHD. So we need someone who’s able to be both fun and strict to help keep him focused. Would like someone to come to our home, based Clapham Common Southside.

You could try London Music Box. They specialise in teaching children with autism or ADHD and will come to your house. We started lessons with them but it was disrupted during lockdown and I haven’t picked them up again for fear of more disruption.

I am a degree student at the British and Irish institute of modern music, in Fulham. I have grade 8 piano and voice and also grade 6 Violin. I have taught young children the piano in the village where I grew up, before moving to London.

I would love to meet your son and would offer you a free trial session to see if you feel we are a good fit. I would always aim for the lessons to be fun as I believe that learning to play an instrument has to be enjoyable and driven at a pace that suits the individual.
