Ima first time mummy to a 7 week old boy.
We bought most our stuff from:
babybundle (dot) uk (dot) com (it won’t let me post the website link) Has some amazing bits and it’s all second hand. They grow out of clothes so quickly so we did 80% from here. As you can buy bundles of great quality clothes quite cheaply. They also have great baby accessories like baby carriers etc
Ebay - again great for some lovely secondhand high end clothing bits at bargain prices, as well as accessories for babies room
Amazon - very convenient and sometimes they have great deals
The app next door in the find section - great for finding second hand Baby Bjorn bouncers, clothes, changing stations etc

John Lewis online / Newbie on Northcote Road / more high end shops - jojo mama bebe, Jules, Mori, White and company
Peter jones Sloane sq - great for looking at prams but not the biggest selection. I heard white city mama papa / John Lewis is the best place to go pram shopping as they have every model
Cot - can take up to 3 months to arrive. Due to brexit and covid took ours 5 months. We bought it from Silvercross. It’s nice, but personally feel like it’s over priced for what it was. Due the pandemic the shops were closed so we couldn’t look at cots in person - definitely recommend you do.
Happiest baby Snoo - this is a wildcard… we have one and it’s very expensive, but it’s the best investment we made and if we had to pick our one item we can’t live without its this. It’s a cot from 0-6 months. It does white noise, rocks then to sleep, and swaddles mimicking the womb. They have a30’ fat free trial policy too.
My experience has been that From 5 weeks Baby sleeps from 8pm - 6am and only wakes for a feed and nappy changing and goes straight back to sleep. We didn’t use it day 1-17 and we were getting two hours a night. As soon as we started using it we were on 4 hours a night. At 7 weeks I’m on 6 weeks. Everyone else in my antenatal class is still on 3/4 hours a night. Again expensive but I got mine second hand on eBay, brand new for 60% of the price. They often do sales at 30% off on the website too.
Nursing / maternity bras - new look and seraphine are great and seraphine often have sales
IKEA - if you want basic furniture - I got a cheap changing unit for our room from here
