Positive HPV test - Private Gynaecologist recommendations? Post Reply

I’m looking for any recommendations for a private gynaecologist following a positive HPV test in a recent smear.

I just want to get things checked out thoroughly as it’s been a bit of a shock having been in my current relationship for 14 years.

Apparently it can be dormant and would have been undetected by the previous smear tests as they only used to test for abnormal cells.

Any recommendations most welcome.

Mr Pisal at London Gynaecology is excellent.

He would be able to decide if you should have a colposcopy

I have attended him myself as I was concerned due to bleeding during pregnancy and would have no hesitation in recommending him to any of my friends or colleagues.
