We are considering applying for Garden House School as well as the usual preps in the local area. Does anyone else live in Wandsworth (Wandsworth Common) and go to GH or indeed any school slightly further away?

No you won’t find many children around here going to GH or any of the preps around there. Perhaps some from Battersea, lots from Fulham. It’s quite a trek at that time in the morning and the traffic on the way there and back can be really awful…-

Just curios what Garden House School offers that local preps do not offer?

Reputation mostly. A different sort of crowd. Importantly perhaps, a different set of target schools when leaving at 11+, all the north london ‘alpha’ schools mostly.
