Menopause norms?

Postby AtThatAge » Mon Sep 11, 2023 11:17 am

Hi local ladies,
I'm 46 and having what I imagine are peri-menopausal issues but not sure if they are normal or if I should see a doctor.
I'd always understood that periods would slow down and eventually die off altogether. After being very normal and regular forever I suddenly didn't have one for six months. Then they started back up but only three weeks apart which is way too frequent for my liking, with all the accompanying terrible skin and bad moods!!!
Is this pattern normal, does anyone know??

There was a thread last year on the topic - with some comments, links and resources that you might find helpful viewtopic.php?f=34&t=123610&p=277545#p277545
