Are wishbone chairs comfortable? Post Reply

Slightly strange question but does anyone have wishbone chairs? I love the look of them but not sure if the backs of the chair would be uncomfortable if sitting for longer periods, especially as we aren't as young as we were    We love to have people over for supper and need some new chairs but don't want them to look great but be uncomfortable to sit in. Any similar suggestions most welcomed!

No they are not very comfortable I'm afraid.  We quickly bought seat cushions for ours, which somewhat spoil the look of the beautiful design of course, but they still make my lower back ache if I sit on them for any length of time.  Ours are cheap(er) fakes and perhaps the real thing are more comfortable...
