Hello
I am looking for a tutor who can help my child with English, looking particularly at help with comprehension, spelling, sentence structure. This is a challenging role as my child is really struggling with this subject and has done for many years so I really need someone who can help foster a 'love' of the subject as he really does just 'shut down' when it comes to comprehension, writing etc. He really struggles to complete his homework as a result. He is also a very reluctant reader so someone who could also help us with this would be much appreciated.
We are looking for a more 'nurturing' approach to the subject as opposed to just 'Exam focus' . It would be great to get some recommendations from anyone who has been in a similar situation and found a really great tutor to help. Thank you
