A small, dynamic Property Development & Management company is looking for a part time Property Management Accountant to join their exceptional team. The successful individual will be working closely with the Directors and very experienced employees in the field. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who would like to work on a flexible basis. The position is office based - SW17 7ED
The Role:
Carry out accounting duties across company residential portfolios/projects
QuickBooks/Xero/Sage experience necessary
Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into accounting software or databases
Bills processing
Reconciliations
Preparing financial statements (profit and loss)
Managing employee expense claims
Credit control
Quarterly VAT reports preparations
Liaising with clients and supplier
Weekly payment runs
Filing/post/regular admin task related to Accounting position
Assisting and reporting to Finance Director
Using both Excel and in-house IT Systems
Specification:
Strong understanding of Property Management accounting, having previously worked in a similar role
Property management system exposure
Have a proactive approach and want to work in a small team
Strong attention to detail and able to get on with their work independently
Strong organisational/time management
Strong verbal and written communication skills
office based - hours and days to be agreed
