How bright is my child?

Postby esbconsulting » Wed May 01, 2024 9:53 am

Are you unclear about how bright your child is?
Do you want to know how bright is your child relative to children of the same age across the UK?
Do you get frustrated that you don't get a detailed academic profile of your child from their school?
Do you know your child's areas of strength and weakness in English, Maths and Reasoning?
Have you invested in a tutor - do you measure the value they add?
Considering whether your child should sit competitive school entrance exams?
Is your child likely to pass their upcoming 7+, 11+, 13+ entrance exams?

ESB Consulting offers the ‘APT’ - an online, AI-powered, adaptive, national curriculum-focused assessment that can be sat from the comfort of your home.

Typically completed in 60-90 minutes, with the ability to take breaks in between each section, the APT is designed for children aged 6-16 (Years 1-11).

It assesses their ability in English, Maths, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning, producing a Standard Age Score (SAS) to compare your child’s academic ability to children of the same age across the UK.

Unlike a CAT test, the APT specifically focuses on English, Maths, VR and NVR, rather than CAT's more nebulous categories (quant, spatial, verbal, non-verbal).

The APT can be used as a measure of progress over time, it helps to identify your child’s areas of strength and weakness, and it is an excellent indicator of likely success in future school admissions.

On completion of the APT, you will receive a detailed report (example below) and a free 30-minute consultation to discuss the report and the next steps along your child's educational journey.

*** We offer the APT at one of the cheapest rates going - some consultancies charge into the £1,000s for the same assessment. We are big believers in the power of data, providing a spotlight for parents into their child's academic abilities. ***
