Can anyone recommend a company to lay victorian tiles on a front path?? Our path has a huge dip in it which gathers water and all of the tikes are cracked.

I have noticed walking around that most people seem to lay small tones in front of the window - does anyone ever lay tiles in this part of the path? Just curious.

Absolutely brilliant company who did my large Victorian tiling job for a good price.

Based in Hampton but they will pop in when they are another job in the area.

Traditionally most tiled paths are straight but we went for a cross shape of our path and don’t regret it.

We used the London Front Garden Company to redo our front garden, though I am sure they would also be happy to just do a part of it.

For the Victorian mosaic tiles, there are usually 2 reasons they are restricted to the path only:
1/ Cost - they are quite expensive, in particular getting them laid as it is quite tedious and time consuming, so most people opt for a more cost efficient solution for the rest of the front garden (little loose stones is the cheapest, we were advised against those as a pain to maintain if you get lots of leaves in your front garden)
2/ Visual - if the part in front of the windows is reasonably big, having small squares all over can look a bit odd. At least that’s what we found when we saw bigger ones with the mosaics over a big surface.

Topps tiles do a mesh version that still looks pretty good as long as you can find someone to lay it well. I was quoted £10k for a bespoke pattern which was beyond our budget.
