This is a horrible site. Very few people get into nannying to abuse kids.

I do not understand why anyone would advertise this.
Give nannies a break, Most of us actually enjoy our jobs and do them properly. As with any other job you get the few that dont...
I dont constantly see on here people putting down mums or dads or any others for that matter.

HAHA!! I am NOT saying this sight is right in any way but wow its addictive!!! I spent hours reading all the posts on here...and the 2 previous posters...dont worry as nannys are fighting back wherever they see necessary i think its entertaining mainly bcos they r american and americans are so dramatic!!

Yep let's have some positive feedback re nannies. Ours is great as was our previous one. Let's face it, we'd be stuck without them

Well said juliantenniscoach, us nannies do take a bit if a bashing, there does seem to be a bit of a divide between mums and nannies which is crazy as we all need to work together at the end of the day.
Ps Julian do you think your nanny would be interested in coming to a nanny christmas party? Have put an ad in Christmas events!

Its rarely a Bad Nanny Sighting that's put on there MWW2011...more nannies asking for advice on problems and jobs they r encountering. Its very interesting to read replys especially as Americans tend to be quite sharp-tongued and extremely honest (sometimes too much so) so it makes for great reading at times. Obviously no-one wants to read about children being mistreated but several times these have been posted and it has got back to the parents and been dealt with so on a whole this is a positive site

Yes, having clicked on the site it is about so much more than reporting 'bad nannies', and quite addictive, I really feel for some of the girls who have had appalling experiences as Nannies, and also the fact that US nannies can face the sack if they are pregnant! The site is also is quite clear, that if actual abuse is spotted it should be reported to suitable authorities not posted on the site, and it is more for borderline neglect etc that it should be used. But the comments on posts are brilliant - one 'nanny report' looked more like it was a disgruntled ebay seller trying to get revenge on a male nanny who had got his money back for bad service.

To the nannies that are feeling bashed on here, hope you realise it is a small minority that do the bashing. I don't have a nanny as can't afford one and have very helpful family, but I do have an au pair and I hope I treat her well and want to support her to make the most of her stay in london...

It would be nice to have a little more positivity and love for nannies!! We work really hard to step into the parents shoes to do the best and more for our charges and family. Maybe some nice stories would be nice for such a happy time of year - instead of negativity always????
