Can anyone recommend a handyman?

Postby nvmof3 » Tue Nov 22, 2011 7:55 am

Hi, I'm looking for someone to come and do a few bits and bobs around the house (replace some skirting board, change a washer, change a door knob etc.).
Does anyone know someone who could turn their hand to this sort of work?
Thank you.

I cant believe you haven't been inundated with responses.. one thing is for sure I wouldn't use, Battersea Handyman.. £400 a day.. in this current climate.. I have used an honest and fair chap.. 28yrs experience.. he has just finished insulating my roof, and then painted the bathroom..
I am thrilled with his work ethic.. get's in and works.. not get's in and drink tea!!!
Any way should you want to call him and chat.. he is Mr Donovan McIntosh

Or should you feel the need message me

Hi,
I've used a local handyman for lots of jobs. He was recommended to me by a friend, and I've now also passed him on to lots of people who have been happy. He is quite busy (always a good sign I think!) Reliable, trustworthy, friendly but also just 'gets the job done'. He has some others working with him now to keep up with the demand, and they seem to be just as good as him. They were just here today fixing something.

Good luck,
Michelle

Please give Dominic Cartlidge a call he seems to know how to do anything & no job is too small. He goes the extra mile to make sure you are happy is very honest, works quickly & his rates are very competitive. He has completed all sorts of jobs for me & others on this site & always gets glowing reviews! 07543 195975
