Hi - I just wanted to post and spread the word about this fantastic new bakery. I use Ritherdon road a lot (love Robbies photographic shop and Thorolds the wine shop) and I have to say the road was crying out for a coffee shop/ cake shop and Dee light is WONDERFUL. Great coffee, but also lovely quiche/ pies/ pizza to eat in or take away - not too expensive either. I have no connection to any of these places I just wanted to make a big shout to nappy valley residents to make use of them so they survive and thrive!!

I second that too Medway! They even do some gluten free goodies too, it was packed on Sunday - great to see it doing well!
I also love the gallery next door, some gorgeous pictures of the common in autumn and amazing snowscapes too, lets keep things local!

I agree. I've been there a few times with my kids. Its so good to have a cafe where the kids have a play area. There aren't enough of these places around. And the cakes are amazing!!!!

Love this place too. Staff are so friendly and food and coffee great.
It's such a gorgeous road - now if only we could find a flat along there I'd be a happy girl
