couple therapy?

Postby specialk1215 » Wed May 02, 2012 9:56 am

I think my hubby and I could use a little 'relationship tune-up'. Can anyone recommend a good couples therapist? Ideally close to Balham? Thanks in advance everyone.

A few years back I was put in touch with a great counsellor through Relate, in the Abbeville Village vicinity. My husband and I were having issues at the time and I saw her on my own for a while. She was I incredibly professional, so much so that when he finally admitted that we should probably see someone together, she would not see us both as she didn't want to be seen as biased towards me. She then recommended us to another Relate counsellor. It certainly wasn't something I looked forward to every week, but I really believed it helped. Good luck x

Hi there, I'm sorry to hear that things aren't great. Through my business networking I can recommend:

Francine Kaye at http://www.thedivorcedoctor.co.uk (the name sounds more dramatic than it is), and

Kirsten Gronning at http://www.breakupangels.com

Both are very approachable & very knowledgeable.

Good luck, I'm sure all will be fine - they will help you with communication.
