my 8 month old is half-American and I wanted to start a playgroup with other US mummies and/or babies as i think it would be nice for Penelope to have other little American friends! i live in the Battersea area very near Battersea Park.

My fellow Americans (sorry, getting so caught up in the election craziness!),

I would like to propose a very informal meet up at one of the One O' Clock clubs, I live near the Bolingbroke centre in Wandsworth Common, I've also heard the Battersea Park centre is nice.

I would say let's shoot for 1:00 on Monday? Nap times vary but the centres are open until 4:00 so if your baby is napping you can show up when it's convenient. I also have an older child in school so I need to dash off to pick up by 3:15.

I'm a Brit married to and American (dragged him over here kicking & screaming!) with a 2yr old boy living in Earlsfield. I work Mon to Thurs, but would love to meet up with the group if you do anything on a Friday or weekend. I know my hubs would love to hang out with some fellow Americans in the area too - I'm afraid I'm not as excited as he is about Orioles potentially topping the league at the moment, so I'm sure he'd love to find some blokes to spitball about b-ball!

I think I'm a bit late with this! Was wondering if you have a playgroup up and running?

I specialise in working with busy women who struggle to find the time to exercise. Naturally many of my clients are mums, so would love to know if a few of your mums would be interested in doing a short workout while your babies play?

I live right next to Battersea park so would be happy to meet you there.

We just moved to london in early September from NYC for my husbands job. I have an 18 month old and number 2 in March. I would love to meet other American moms. We'll be moving to Clapham from corporate housing in about 2 weeks. If there are any playgroups or meet-ups I'd love to hear about them.
