Decent garage for BMW service/ MOT

Hi all,

Looking for advice on where to get may car sorted. It due a service and MOT in a few weeks time and I'm looking for somewhere local, honest and reliable that wont charge me a fortune.

I did have a little hiccup in a multi storey a few weeks ago which has damaged one of the rear parking sensors - not sure if fixing it will mean tinkering with the fancy BMW computer thingy, or whether its a straightforward job.

Its a BMW, so not sure if I need a BMW/ german car specialist of whether any decent garage could do the job.

As you can tell, I dont know much about cars so any pointers will be very gratefully received!!

Try Mike Graingers at (I think) Mike Grainger Autos near Battersea Bridge. He's a really good guy, does MOTs and I'm sure will service BMW's too. Number is 020 7924 1605

I have been taking my car to Vulcaniza for years - they are at 363 Clapham Road (near Clapham North) and do drop in MOTs. They are decent and honest and don't charge the earth. Their number is 020 7924 9777.

We've been using AMC on Garratt Lane.

They specialise in BMWs and Mercedes and have always been really helpful and efficient. They are very understanding if, like me, your car knowledge is limited!
