I think this new (ish) Bakery is fantastic, I go there all the time, with my kids and mean for no harm other than for them to take their health and safety a little more seriously.
We sat up the far end recently and I got the total heebies that not only was there a 2 ring electric hot plate within reaching distance (of most kids over 2), but on it sat a tall 5L (approx) pan full of hot water - all on top of a freestanding open (ie, no sides) not overly sturdy even, unit.
Kids shove and push, and it's en route to the toilet and the play area and wouldn't take much to be bumped off leaving some poor kid (or adult) covered in potentially horrific burns.
Shouldn't the open kitchen be a little less, er, open?
I'm hoping they might read this and fix it without having to do anything confrontational, I'd hate to be proved right...
