EBONYFUN SEEKS NEW FAMILY

Postby Ebonyfun » Tue Sep 04, 2012 7:44 pm

Dear Parents,
I would like to introduce myself to you. My name is Jade Anderson, and I am a thirty-one year old nanny. I have just over fourteen years of childcare experience gained in the roles of mother; god-parent, classroom assistant, play worker, play leader, after-school club manager, nursery nurse (working in Second Steps Day Nursery in Balham for four years), babysitter and currently nanny. I am now looking for a new family, as the youngest child in the family with whom I work will be starting school in September 2012. Though leaving this family will be very difficult as we have built a solid relationship, circumstances have deemed it necessary for me to seek alternative employment. I am available as of September 2012.
I am Ofsted registered; have a clean full driving licence; can be described as child focused, down to earth, creative, firm but fair, flexible and reliable. I have glowing references, and a portfolio available for viewing. I will provide your child with craft activities to develop, play dates, play groups, trips, swimming and laughter in abundance. I am a sociable nanny who has built up a strong rapport with many other nannies in the Borough. I would suit a share or a family with multiple children, ideally in the Earlsfield area, as I feel it has a lot to offer in terms of children’s’ activities, and is within walking distance of my home. Other areas of interest: Balham, Clapham Junction and Wansdworth Common. I require four to five full days per week, or would consider two days working with one family, and two or three days with another.
Please do not hesitate to contact me should you require any further information.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Hi. Jade, and one of the children she's looked after recently, spent many Mondays at our house and in the nearby parks over the past year playing with our daughter and nanny. She seems terrific: friendly, sensible, organised, reliable, outgoing, lots of fun and a good influence on the girls. While I can't give her a real reference, since she hasn't worked for us, I would say that if you're looking for a nanny it's absolutely worth getting in touch with her.

Entirely unsolicited by Jade (!)
