Morning Pre-school Ballet

Postby goodtoesballet » Thu Sep 06, 2012 4:39 pm

Hi all, I am thinking about setting up a ballet class for nursery age children taking place on a weekday morning, so that children who do afternoon nursery can get to a class during the week. I just wanted to put out some feelers to see if this is something people are interested in.

I am a Royal Academy of Dance registered teacher and an ex-professional ballet dancer.

I would hold the class in either SW11 or SW12 depending on the availability of the studios.

My children are about to start nursery in the mornings so an afternoon class in SW11 would be great. 3.45pm onwards. Do let me know if you do one.

Hi, I am running an afternoon class in SW11 on Friday afternoons, but it is at 2-2.45pm so parents can get to pick up afterwards. I'm not running any classes after school hours at the moment.

Brilliant! I need to get some more people together to start a class to cover my costs but a Thursday or Friday would be good. I'll check studio availability and get back to you.

Hi there, this sounds like something that might work. I haven't spoken to the studios as yet but I'll do that on Monday and should be able to have a prospective morning slot organised by the end of next week. Keep you posted,

Free trial class of pre-school ballet

Postby goodtoesballet » Mon Oct 01, 2012 11:07 am

Hi all,

I will be holding a Free Trial class for my Pre-school ballet on Wednesday the 17th of October, 10-10.45 in Balham. This way your little ones can try ballet before you have to commit to a whole term and buy leotards etc. If they like the class and you decide to sign them up, then classes are held on a termly basis at the same time each week from the 31st of October to the 12th of December and will be £9 each.
If you would like your little one to come and join in please email me so I can note their name as I only have limited space in the class. They'll need ballet shoes, something easy to dance in and hair out of the way.

Looking forward to it,
Olivia Boda
