1. Whizz-Kidz Neon Nightwalk 2012!
Friday 12th October 2012 – Saturday 13th October 2012
Start Time: 19:00 on Friday 12th October
End Time: 01:00 (approx.) on Saturday 13th October
Whizz-Kidz is a charity which aims to provide the estimated 70,000 disabled children in the UK waiting for a wheelchair with the essential mobility equipment they need to lead fun and active childhoods. On Friday 12th October Whizz-Kidz will be holding the Neon Nightwalk, a 10 mile walk around central London, taking in some of the capital’s brightest landmarks at night with the aim to raise money to support more disabled children and young people across the UK. Last year’s Neon Nightwalk raised a fantastic £40,000, and we’re hoping this year’s event will raise even more! The fundraising target for those wishing to take part is £150 – Whizz-Kidz can provide plenty of support to help reach that target!
The walk starts and finishes in Victoria, and walkers will be greeted with a marquee and the opportunity to meet Whizz-Kidz young ambassadors. The Neon Nightwalk is suitable for all age groups, and is a fantastic opportunity to see the work of Whizz-Kidz on a whole new level!
