We are flying this Thursday (23rd Aug), and I've just learned that I need a "seat belt shortener" to use my Kiddy car seat on the Emirates flight. I have called all the stockists within 100km, and the airport, and no one has one I can buy.
Does anyone have one I can buy/borrow/hire?!!
From the pictures online, it looks like a metal buckle. They usually sell for about £5, and apparently you can get them from the Kiddy manufacturers but I've called them too, and they won't be able to get me one by Thursday. (Panic is slowly starting to grow inside me...!!)
My DS2 is almost a year old and very active so using his car seat is the only way I'll be able to keep him secure when he needs to be. I'll also have my 3 year old DS1, so it would be good to ensure I can secure DS2 whilst I take DS1 to the loo etc...
Just on the off-chance, if anyone is flying to Dubai on the LHR 2040 Emirates flight on Thursday, you might spot me - I'll be the harassed mum with 2 kids trying to take it all in my stride!!
