Bathroom refurbishment - help!

Postby scrappybluecat » Thu Oct 11, 2012 11:31 pm

We would like someone/company to come and refurbish our bathroom ie new sinks, loo, shower etc plus new tiles on floor and walls and then decoration. Does anyone have any recommendations on who can help. Had one quote which is VERY expensive and one company who said they would come and quote - and then were too busy to come along at the last minute. (only found this out when I phoned to see where they were) PLEASE can anyone give me some good recommendations on who to contact. Thank you so much

We can whole heartedly recommend Clapham Builders who put in a new bathroom with underfloor heating for us amongst doing lots of other things around the house. Decent guys who do a good, honest job to a high standard. Give Richard or Greg a call on 07852 991867 if you are interested.

I've found an excellent guy called Antonio (07828 916397) who refurbished our bathroom last year. He is very trustworthy and pleasant which I think is one of the most important things. He is also competitively priced with a good attention to detail. We now use him to do anything we need in our house, including laying new victorian-style tiling to our front garden, building work to the front of our house, installing a new shed base and building lovely built-in-wardrobes. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

We had a complete bathroom refurbishment done by Ian Manning from http://www.watertightbathrooms.co.uk/
We had our kitchen done by http://www.jonique.co.uk/ (they also do bathrooms)
Reasonably priced, excellent work, very happy with both and no problems getting them back to sort out small issues that arose afterwards.

I live between the commons. I spent nearly all of this year getting quotes for my bathroom complete new refurb and new hot water and heating system. Out of 5 people, 2 didnt even bother to send the quote. 2 gave me a load of flannel about changing all my pipes etc! Eventually I went through ************ and found this company called Adema-uk.co.uk
I cannot recommend them highly enough. I posted on the site on Sunday, by Monday morning I had the quote. They came, on time (!), were tidy, perfectionists and did it to the quote (stunned!).
They are a family business and Mariana in the office answers all your problems. 07949245967. Her husband, Dimitre has seen it all before and is honest and experienced. I don't trust people easily at all-but by the end I was very very happy with him, his wife and their friendly team.
I have been very pleasantly surprised. They finished last week. My grotty old bathroom is gone. I am NOT related to them in any way and you can speak to me on phone. I will get them back for other things in my house.
