Dangers of the cords on blinds

This is a desperately sad story and although it is depressing I wanted to flag it up to prevent it happening to other families

I saw this too. So terrible. It also reminded me that I need to sort my blinds. And quick. Does anyone have any tips on what's best for both drawstring and those bobbly chain-like blinds?
