Family session - photographer recommendations?

Postby Ms_Tina » Sat Feb 09, 2013 3:07 pm

Hi All,

I would like to book a family photo session -> newborn + toddler + parents.
I'm looking for a good photographer, someone with imagination and good ideas (I want something more than "4 of us sitting on the sofa" :) ) Reasonably priced please. Any recommendations much appreciated.

Thank you!

Hi

have you tried Martha Grieve? She specialises in newborn photography and did a beautiful job on the photos of my little one and our family.

Her web address is

We have just used Sara-Jane McCabe - very pleased with results. Have a look at her website www.shutterbaby.co.uk

We had our family portrait taken by Charlie - I loved the shots! And he was great with our little one.

I have to recommend Kate Griffin. She turns family photos into family stories. She's amazing.

you have to try vicki knights. she's amazing! she often has a long waiting list though but you should call her and ask. she photographed my daughter last year and i have booked her for a newborn shoot in april when our next one arrives.

Look in the Portraits section to see what she can do. She recently photographed my daughter's 3rd birthday party and we were delighted with the results. She's also much cheaper than some of the others who've been recommended

Hi,
Robbie Photography (http://www.robbiesphotographics.com/) in Balham is very good. Our daughter is usually a nightmare to photograph, but this was a very enjoyable session with really great results. I also liked the fact the photographer listened to what WE wanted, not what THEY thought looked good. Highly recommended.
