Hi,

Can anyone recommend a local builders that will fit a new kitchen and help dispose of the old one? Ideally not ones that will cost the earth but just a decent firm that will provide good service in a reasonable time scale.

We used Clapham Builders to install our kitchen and they were great. Decent guys at a very good price and kept the place as tidy as possible while completing the work. They were recommended to us on here and I can recommend them without hesitation. Contact their boss Richard on 07852 991867.

We moved out of Earlsfield <sniff> last year. We bought a bit of a wreck but Dermot and his guys from Dermarta were really excellent - last time we moved house was super stressful enough without shirty and shoddy workmen, but Dermot was great and made everything happen smoothly - what a relief! Top bloke, good team, really good results - and they were careful to come back and sort the (minimal) snagging.

Long post for me but I think good builders are few and far between so need recognition!

Building handyman absolutely useless - avoid - missed timings, bad workmanship, so many funerals you would think ebola was in the UK !
