We were really pleased with the people who did our (tiny) garden two years ago. For the life of me, can't remember the name of the company. Will ask husband if his memory's better than mine!

Hi there,

We have just had our garden done by a company called Inarcadia who I have to say were absolutely brilliant (and no, I'm not related to them in any way!!). I was concerned that they would want us to do all sorts of spurious things and actually they ended up just doing a "freshen up" which was brilliant. I suspect they're not the cheapest in the world as they are definitely "gentlemen gardeners" rather than long armed oiks but then again I'm a firm believer that you get what you pay for in this life!!

The chap we have been dealing with is called David and his number is 07970 100073.

Good luck...

Tina Febrey at Conker Gardens http://www.conkergardens.co.uk/
We are in SW12 have been using her for the last 4 years and I would highly recommend her and her husband Dan for garden design and maintenance. They take on all jobs big and small and are very down to earth and friendly.

Hi
I would highly recommend a young chap called Matt whose name I found in the House & Garden section on this site. Telephone 07734 604553. He is currently away until end of April but he was very amiable, efficient and very reasonable.

We had our garden dug out and a patio put down two years ago with some brick flower beds built. We used http://www.bamboolandscaping.co.uk/. They are a local company - I think the guy who owns it was called Vanni. Hes Italian and the guys who work for him were all Italian and we had a great experience. They were reasonably priced and showed up every day at 7am and worked to 6pm. They were tidy and the workmanship was great. My little girl was just 2 months when we had the work done and I was dreading having tradesmen in, but I really could not have faulted them and would highly recommend them.

We are Chartered Landscape Architects and Garden Designers who work throughout London and can design your landscape to make the most of the exterior space. We can then recommend high-quality contractors to carry out the work.

Some examples of work here -
