The Easter Holidays will soon be here and with it the challenge of what to do with our little ones when they're not overdosing on chocolate and chasing bunnies.

Battersea Park Zoo is running an Easter Egg Hunt, Edwin the Easter Rabbit will be at the London Eye handing out free chocolate eggs when taking a rotation on the wheel, you could have breakfast with the Easter Bunny at Syon Garden Centre or you could visit one of London’s many museums where Pearly Kings and Queens come to life, design your own tube map, or join in with Egg-tastic fun at the Museum of Childhood.
Many of the National Trust properties have joined forces with Cadburys and are holding Easter Trails such as at Morden Hall Park whilst in Chelsea you could join in the annual Hop & Hunt Easter Challenge.
If you are after something to keep the kids entertained for more than a couple of hours then try a camp, the downside is you have to pick them up at the end of the day but the upside is there are more than 40 different options to choose from. We have everything from sport to music, drama to working with animals.
If your child is a mini McEnroe there is a racketbag full of options such as The Spencer Club, Furzedown, Henry Lamb and Junior tennis4you.
The Spencer Club are also running a hockey club, whilst in Tooting you could try the Furzedown soccer school or the Hotshots Easter Tennis Camp.
Phew!
If your child fancies splashing around, look no further than the Super Swimming Crash course or if you want to combine swimming with other sports, how about the Swim and Sports Skills course both run by Wandsworth council or the fox hunting whilst paddling classes at the Lido (I made that last one up).
We’ve also got indoor sports such as badminton and trampolining as well as multi-discipline camps such as Activ Camp (both in Battersea and Wimbledon), Little Foxes, Playball, All Star Coaching, Kidz Club Multi-Sport, Inspire Life & Leisure, SuperCamp and the Little Gym.
For those interested in the arts, we have Song Academy, Theatrebugs in Battersea, Clapham, Balham and Earlsfield, Glee Club, Theatre Tribe, Studio Film School, Got to Dance, Green Dog Arts and Funky Moves.
The Polka Theatre continues to delight young audiences and this Easter is no different. They are running workshops as well as performances so there is plenty to choose from:
Trying creating feathered friends in a workshop inspired by the production of Egg. Or how about the Spring Bug & Butterfly workshop where your children will create characters through drama and craft. For budding directors, there is the Musical Director workshop or for aspiring actors there is the Actors boot camp.
Productions include Blown Away, Cloud Man, Comedy 4 Kidz and Kid Carpet and the Noisy Animals.
If you want something arty try Play with Clay, The Little Draw, Creation Station’s Easter Session or Children’s Art School, Sammy Duder will also be open hosting Glitterbug workshops as well as the usual pottery painting.
Eddie Catz are running Animal Man Experiences in both of their South London venues as well as a Crazy Science Workshop and Make an Easter Bunny.
Gambado is open throughout the Easter weekend as well as usual and has a timetable stuffed full of activities including Dinky Disco, an Eggscellent Treasure Hunt, visits from Gambado himself, Fireman Sammy and Pink Pig as well as others.
Still not enough? There are also cookery courses (for toddlers, a Cooking Extravaganza, Spring Harvest), Quacky Racing, learning how to work with animals and dozens of other activities!
