We are a Danish/South African family, who have a happy home and busy lives. We live in a 5-bed beautiful house in Clapham.
You will be looking after our almost-4-yrs-old son and our 11 month old daughter. Our son will finish nursery school in July and in September he will be going to school full time. Duties will include getting our son to and from school (I think school ends around 3.30/4 every day), getting the children bathed, cooking healthy meals, playing games, taking him to after school activities and play dates. During the day, you’ll mainly be spending time with our daughter, so you’ll be responsible for playing with her, activities, feeding etc. as well as taking her swimming. You will be asked to do some light housework e.g organise the laundry, sweep at the end of day etc, however we have a weekly cleaner for main household cleaning.
We are looking for someone who really loves children, organised, with a mature attitude but still fun. The role will require you to be energetic, active, hardworking and reliable, as we live in a clean, tidy & organized household. Ideally it would be great if you can cook.
We will welcome you as part of our family and you will have a lovely double bedroom with TV, Wifi, ipod dock and pretty much your own bathroom too, only to be shared with the occasional visitor.
Working hours will be 8 am – 7 pm/ 5 days per wk, plus 2 nights flexible babysitting. Salary: neg and dependent on experience inc all food & bills.
Start date End of June 2013. Minimum 1 year. Fluent English required.
