Artificial grass - recommendations needed

Postby MamanMummy » Sun May 12, 2013 1:22 pm

We are looking to have artificial grass put in part of our garden. We had a quote already but found it very expensive so would like to look around for cheaper options. This is to go under a trampoline so does not have to be amazingly-looking. Alternatively has anybody tried to do it themselves - I am quite good with many house-related things but this seems quite complicated... Thanks!

yes we did it ourselves! bought it online from a company called Easy grass, or something like that. you just cut it and lay straight on patio. very easy!

We used the artificial lawn company, based in Kent. They were mid price from the quotes we got and were very quick, efficient and tidy. The whole job was done in a day and everything taken away with them - I would definitely recommend them :)

Erykah - did you need anything apart from the easigrass ie layer beneath? tempting to get for our little one as we have a courtyard with no grass.

Thanks

We have had a few samples from Artificial Grass Land, which seem OK (and they have a sale on at the moment!), however, we have ordered artificial grass from Trulawn (in their luxury range) as the quality is far higher. However, they are slightly more expensive. Both gave great customer service.

Few options for you.

We had quotes from Trulawn, Easigreass & finally Lazylawn who we chose following recommendations, the best quote & genuine sell.

We were impressed & happy with it all, & would certainly recommend them.

The result has made all the difference to the playtime the kids get outside. Worth every penny.
