A grey stray!

Postby Dance Teacher » Thu May 30, 2013 1:58 pm

I've been feeding a beautiful thin grey pedigree-type cat with amber eyes for some time now; I'm sure he would adopt us but our enormous bossy Tom-cat tabby belts the life out of him/her whenever he/she comes in to be fed. It obviously has a shed or makeshift home, somewhere it went to in the snow/winter, (we've been feeding it for about a year now), though it does creep in and sleep with us sometimes. Is there anyone out there who's lost a cat like this? (I once found a cat who'd travelled to Mallinson Road, where I live, from Tooting, so it could have come some distance). I haven't found an animal charity to take it, though I've asked, (they're all inundated), and it seems a bit cruel to grab it (it's quite nervous, though used to us), and dump it at Battersea Dogs' Home as it's used to our gardens!
Call me if it's yours! Joan (020-7350 2928)

Hi, I'm not sure whether this information will be of any use?
I live in Cheam, not far from Sutton and there have been pics up of a missing grey cat ( british blue) with lovely amber eyes, the pics have been up for sometime their number is 07515930804. They are offering a reward, so they are desperate to get him back.
As you say cats can stray for miles.
You never know this just might be their cat?
Hope this info is of use.

Have you taken it to the vet to check if it has a microchip?

There are posters up around Clapham South / Thurleigh Road for a grey burmese cat that has gone missing from Badminton Road, which is not so far from Mallinson Road.
