Lovely family with two girls seeks lovely 3 day a week nanny Post Reply

We are looking for a lovely nanny three days a week (almost certainly Monday to Wednesday, 8am to 6pm) to look after our two lovely daughters who are aged 3 years and 9 months respectively!

During term time, the elder one will be at nursery on Wednesday afternoons, but for the rest of the time it will be for care of both girls. We are looking for someone who is friendly, energetic and caring but also firm when needed; who can take the girls out and about as well as doing fun activities at home; who has plenty of initiative but is also good at working in collaboration with parents! We currently live just off Lavender Hill/Latchmere Road but will be moving to a new house between Streatham Hill and Tulse Hill around the end of September.

We need a nanny who:

Has plenty of proven experience with both babies and pre-schoolers
Can prepare and cook healthy and varied meals
Has fluent spoken and written English
Has excellent references
Is a non-smoker with first aid training, a CRB check, and is Ofsted registered (or willing to become so)

Driving would be an advantage but not essential.

Start date flexible but definitely by end September.

I'm already working 2 full days with a wonderful 3 years old girl and looking for roughly 2-3 days a week nanny job in London.

Apart from all the standard requirements that I fully met (mature and responsible, highly experienced multiple style cuisine cooking, driving, joyful, nonsmoking or drinking, dedicated, reliable, punctual, honest....), after successfully working with children in the UK, Belgium, France and Switzerland for the last 6 years and attending/graduating multiple courses regarding language and education/pedagogy, I consider myself prepared to add my contribution (if required) on child education, regarding both in house daily routine (personal hygiene and habits) and school/social skills (homework, activities, manners, etc.).

Hi there,
I am currently working as a 3 days sole charge /shared with my own child nanny in Balham for the past 2 years for the same family. The mother got her days reduced to 2 days only and that is no longer feasible with my needs . I will stay on and work those two days (Thursday/Friday) ,but would love to expand my working hours as my child will be in Y1 from September and I have more free time on my hands.
I have been childcare providing for over 14 years ,would consider registering with Ofted (never had the need to do so in the past) ,had my own small scale nursery back home , effectively worked with my child since she was 2 and a half years old and am very well connected in the area in terms of children classes, nurseries, schools, free children activities in various clubs and a great network with previous families which we meet up regularly for fum play-dates.
