Our growing baby clothing business is looking for a permanent part time Customer Service / Order Processing Assistant to join a small team in our office/showroom on Putney Bridge Road, SW15.
Bambino Merino is an established online babywear retailer – sourcing and supplying natural merino baby sleepwear to customers and stockists worldwide.
This is a part time role involving a wide variety of responsibilities and is primarily focussed on order processing, stock preparation, stock management and customer service. Hours are 10am-4pm Tuesday and 12-4pm Wednesday and Friday. The ideal candidate would offer flexibility to increase/vary hours as the needs of the business change.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Receiving, prioritising and processing sales orders
• Picking and packing retail and wholesale orders with speed, precision
and care
• Booking courier collections and processing daily post
• Handling and solving customer queries and orders via telephone & email
• Assisting and advising showroom customers
• Monitoring inventory stock levels and restocking
• Preparing garments for sale
• Assisting with quarterly stocktakes
• Maintaining accurate stock control records
• Gift wrapping where appropriate
• Communicating with colleagues daily on order status and any issues
• Assisting with occasional photo shoots
• Carrying out office opening/closing routines
THE PERSON:
The successful candidate will be an honest and flexible team player, used to showing initiative and with a ‘can do’ attitude. Full on the job training will be given and you will need to be self-motivated and a quick learner. Previous experience in an organisational, administration or customer facing role is preferred. ESSENTIAL SKILLS
• Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail
• Professional telephone manner and strong written and oral
communication skills
• Good numeracy and PC literacy skills, especially experience using MS
Excel, Outlook and internet
• Ability to prioritise and use initiative
• Good time management and time keeping
• Ability to confidently work unsupervised
Location: 213 Putney Bridge Road, London SW15 2NY
Hours: 14 hours per week.
10am-4pm Tuesdays and 12-4pm Wednesdays and Fridays.
There is a degree of flexibility to the hours, which will be
discussed at initial meeting/interview.
